Working with an independent practice has its benefits. I keep a smaller caseload to ensure that each client gets highly devoted care. Specialities include working with substance use recovery, grief, and trauma. Together, we will work on the underlying root of your concerns.
12-Step or secular model of recovery is available upon request. Spirituality can play a significant role and be an asset in our healing, it is also not the only path to long-term recovery.
My practice maintains a safe and affirming environment for members of the LGBTTQIA+ community, and offers compassionate and competent support for those in non-traditional relationships (Poly, ENM, Kink communities).
Fully licensed in the state of Georgia as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
After completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, I obtained a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Georgia State University while conducting research in Perfectionism. Experience prior to getting licensed includes two years providing end of life companionship and support through a local hospice organization, as well as grief support through a non-profit. I completed internship working as a college counselor for Mercer University’s Atlanta campus and continue to love working with high school, college, and grad students.
