Seeking therapy through an independent practice has its benefits. I keep a smaller caseload to ensure that each client gets highly individualized and devoted care. Specialities include substance use recovery, grief, and trauma/PTSD. I also have a passion for working with students to meet their academic goals and work towards independence. My style is warm, collaborative, and down to earth.
My practice maintains a safe and affirming environment for members of the LGBTTQIA+ community, and offers compassionate and competent support for those in non-traditional relationships (Poly, ENM, Kink communities).
I'm fully licensed in the state of Georgia as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
After completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, I obtained a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Georgia State University while conducting research in perfectionism. My professional experience also includes two years providing end of life companionship and support through a local hospice organization, as well as grief support through a non-profit. I completed internship working as a college counselor for Mercer University’s Atlanta campus and continue to love working with high school, college, and grad students.
